01/12/2012 - May we introduce to you: Time Shuttle - pioneer with TSR 1 in Europe, Middle East & Africa (EMEA)

Again another milestone has been achieved in the area of quality, process stability and security of our transports!  On January 11, 2012 Time Shuttle GmbH was certified with the TSR 1, due to excellent processes, related documentation & corresponding safety equipment.  This way Time Shuttle GmbH, as the first transport and logistics service provider within EMEA, was granted the highly coveted certificate, which has only been available since the 1st of January, 2012! Within the TAPA-organisation they called it a “historic moment”! 

A proud achievement, if it is considered how many safety relevant requirements are made in the Truck Security Requirements 2012 and are to be fulfilled as a standard. 

At the implementation of and in compliance with the high security requirements to be observed we got active support from the Franz Wirtz GmbH. With this service provider we in many years have developed a reliable and trustful partnership. Also the company Wirtz in this connection passed the first TTSP (TAPA TSR Service Partner) compliance test worldwide and has also received the confirmation as securest service provider for TSR certified companies and related transports. With this cooperation Time Shuttle GmbH currently has 13 certified high-security vehicles and two more vehicles from its own fleet. Successively 25 additional vehicles can be added to our portfolio and be certified. This will be adapted according to demand and gives Time Shuttle GmbH the usual flexibility on today’s highly dynamic market.

The Time Shuttle team looks back on a successful project and can proudly say, as the only logistics service provider EMEA worldwide, to be able to offer the most secure vehicles including all processes! “Security containers on wheels“ exactly describes the result that has been strived for in a two years period. This way Time Shuttle is excellently prepared for all kinds of transports as well as the related order processing. We are very much exited about this award and could again prove, also towards our competitors, our lead in the area of transport security. We thanks also to SGS Systems and Services Certification UK, on our behalf, examined and certified the TSR 1 regulations in this context for the first time in Europe.
